10 godina Centra
Centar za samostalni život invalida Srbije je osnovan 1996. godine.
Okupio je tada malu grupu ljudi koji su imali razlicite vrste invalidnosti ali zajednicku želju da pocnu da rade nešto novo. To novo bila je ideja o samostalnom životu, koja je, zajedno sa Gordanom Rajkov, doplovila iz daleke Irske, i opredelila buduci znak Centra. Svesni cudljivosti voda kojima cemo ploviti, bili smo rešeni da tada izgradimo za pocetak jednu sigurnu luku u Beogradu.
