Paracin Convention
Dear friends and colleagues,
My first Convention meeting was on Saturday 9 th of December.
G17 Plus organized its presentation in Paracin. The plan
for me was to be with other candidates on grand stage in
Sport arena in Paracin. I accepted with one condition – to
have access to this stage on my own.
I was really surprised when I saw what has been done –
a long solid ramp according to all standards which was also
a kind of decoration for the rest of citizens at the same
time.
It was pretty exciting feeling to go to the stage first
in line and all other candidates after me – a hundred of
them used ramp instead of existing stairs! That was a practical
presentation of “design for all” to all present citizens!
For some of you this is maybe not such attraction (there
was also a ramp on UNDP reception last week) but for me this
was a nice example how we can work on awareness rising of
persons with disabilities and equal opportunities no matter
on different interest dimension.
I wanted to show my first experience with you and a couple
of photographs as an illustration of this story.
